
Rockets To Close Out Season Series With Blazers This Weekend

The Kelowna Rockets will wrap up their season series against the Kamloops Blazers this weekend with a home-and-home series that kicks off on Friday at Prospera Place in Kelowna and then shifts back to Kamloops on Saturday.
Instario will be playing live music throughout the game behind section 112.
The Kelowna Rockets closed out their season series with the Tri-City Americans on Wednesday night, pushing their win streak to three games with a 6-1 victory over the Ams. After allowing the game's fist goal, the Rockets scored six unanswered to collect their fourth win of the season over the Americans.
With Wednesday's win, the Rockets are now tied with the Vancouver Giants for sixth in the Western Conference standings with 62 points and are three points back of the Victoria Royals for fifth in a tight race for playoff positioning. The Rockets have seven games remaining in their regular season schedule, while the Giants have eight and the Royals have six. The standings as of Tuesday morning can be found lower in this post.
The Blazers dropped the Vancouver Giants 3-2 last Saturday. Most recently they fell 6-4 to the Western Conference-leading Winterhawks on Wednesday night.

Hiroki Gojsic, ranked 94th among North American skaters by Central Scouting for the 2024 NHL Draft, pushed his point streak to seven games and earned first-star honors on Wednesday after recording two goals and an assist.

THE LAST TIME THESE TWO MET
The Kamloops Blazers snapped the Kelowna Rockets two-game win streak on February 11 at Prospera Place with a commanding 7-3 win. It was the second meeting between the two in as many days, with the Rockets downing the Blazers 6-3 the night before in Kamloops.
After falling behind early, the Rockets scored two unanswered goals to take the lead heading into the intermission before the Blazers battled back to take back the lead in the second frame. Andrew Cristall, Caden Price, Luke Schelter found the back of the net for Kelowna, while goaltender Jari Kykkanen stopped 34 of 40 shots fired his way. Detroit Red Wings prospect Emmitt Finnie posted four goals for the Blazers.

The Kelowna Rockets online 50/50 is back for the 2023-24 season!
The online 50/50 will give fans in Rockets fans located in British Columbia and those who are attending the game the chance to win during every Rockets home game this season. The 50/50 will also raise important dollars for the Kelowna Minor Hockey Association.
Tickets will be available for purchase on all game days starting at 9 a.m. PT and end at the start of the third period on the same day.
LINEUP SHEET + GAME DAY PROGRAM
Printed lineup sheets will not be available at games this season, they can be accessed online by visiting the game day program.
The Game Day Program will be available in the same spot, it comes complete with game notes, stats, team rosters and entry forms for the Rockets intermission contests.
The sheet and program will be uploaded by 3:00 p.m. on game days.
