Hitmen Can't Find Net in 4-0 Loss

Medicine Hat, AB - The Medicine Hat Tigers scored three times in a span of 2:40 early in the second period en route to a 4-0 win over the Calgary Hitmen on Friday night at the Canalta Centre.

Elijah Brown netted a pair of goals for the Central Division leaders while Mark Rassell and Ryan Chyzowski added singles.

New York Islanders prospect David Quenneville recorded two assists to break the Tigers franchise record for points by a defenceman with 197, one more than Kris Russell.

Nick Schneider made 41 saves in the loss for Calgary as the Hitmen were outshot 45-16.

Calgary returns to the Stampede City for a rematch with the Tigers on Sunday, Feb. 11. It's a 2:00 p.m. start for the Co-op Family Game. There will be face painters, concourse activities, lots of giveaways and a post-game family skate that is FREE with a game ticket. The contest also features a specially priced $8.99 ticket (plus applicable fees) for kids 12 and under.

Sunday is the start of a season-high seven-game home stand for the Hitmen. Aside from a visit from the Tigers, Calgary will also host Tri-City (Feb. 14), Saskatoon (Feb. 18), Red Deer (Feb. 21), Edmonton (Feb. 23), Brandon (Feb. 25) and Swift Current (Feb. 27).
