Kamloops Blazers News Release

The Blazers are at home to the Edmonton Oil Kings on Monday, February 12th at 2pm at the Sandman Centre. Cameron Hughes will be back in the building for this special game! He will be dancing and throwing out t-shirts throughout the game.

The first 5000 fans will receive an orange t-shirt with #WeWantTheCup2020 on it as well as noisemakers! Earlier this season it was announced that the Blazers will be bidding on the 2020 Memorial Cup. T-shirts and noisemakers are sponsored by the Reach and the City of Kamloops.

The City of Kamloops will also have buskers on the plaza with the show starting at 1pm.

Save On Foods is the game sponsor for Faith and Family Day, with a large crowd expected. The Blazers have teamed up with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Kamloops and will have a continent of people from St. Ann's Academy and Our Lady of Perpetual Help school as well as the local parishes. The Rising Stars Choir will be singing the anthem and the St. Ann's Academy band will play throughout the game.

A big thank you to our Community Commitment Program sponsors Argo Road Maintenance, Arrow Transportation, Family Glass, Highland Valley Copper, Inland Glass, Kal Tire, Kelson Group and Valley First.
