Calgary, AB - Radel Fazleev scored once and set up a pair of goals to lead the Calgary Hitmen to a 6-2 win over the Portland Winterhawks on Tuesday night at the Scotiabank Saddledome.

Goaltender Nik Amundrud made 31 saves in a first star performance, moving Calgary to within a single point of Red Deer for second place in the Western Hockey League's Central Division.

Jakob Stukel netted a pair of goals for Calgary, his team-leading 30th and 31st of the season, with Taylor Sanheim, Jordy Stallard and Pavel Karnaukhov rounding out the scoring. Colby Harmsworth and Jackson Houck both chipped in a pair of assists helping the Hitmen build period leads of 2-0 and 4-0.

Jack Dougherty scored the lone goal for the Winterhawks who outshot Calgary 33-31 but surrendered a pair of shorthanded goals.

The Hitmen, 35-22-2-2, wrap up their four-game homestand on Friday, Feb. 26 against the Victoria Royals. Game time is 7:00 p.m. at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
