
Hit Parade for BlueClaws in 9-0 Win

LAKEWOOD, NJ - Willians Astudillo, Carlos Tocci and Andrew Knapp had three hits while Jon Prosinski threw seven scoreless innings as the BlueClaws topped Hagerstown 9-0 on Sunday.
Lakewood (22-35/49-77) took three of four in the series from the first place Suns (36-21/80-47).
The BlueClaws scored seven times in the 2nd inning to put the game out of reach early on. The inning included seven hits among the 13 batters to come to the plate. It started with a SAC fly by Larry Greene Jr, and included RBIs by Malquin Canelo, Carlos Tocci, Aaron Brown, Andrew Pullin, and Willians Astudillo.
Astudillo had two hits and Mitch Walding drew a walk and was hit by a pitch in the inning, which tied Lakewood's biggest inning of the season.
Lakewood added an RBI double by Andrew Knapp and their final run on a throwing error by Hagerstown shortstop Wilmer Difo.
Meanwhile, starter Jon Prosinski (5-5) threw seven scoreless innings and Delvi Francisco added two more in Lakewood's 6th shutout of the season.
The BlueClaws scored 25 runs on 53 hits in the four-game series over their 31 turns at bat.
Hagerstown starter Travis Ott (0-1), making his South Atlantic League debut, gave up five runs in 1.1innings to take the loss.
The Sunday attendance was 5,053 and the BlueClaws are now 12,245 fans from 6-million in their franchise history.
The BlueClaws head to West Virginia and open a three-game series there on Tuesday night. LHP Yoel Mecias (2-2) throws for Lakewood in the opener against LHP Cody Dickson (5-9).
