WICHITA, KS- The Wichita Wingnuts (17-10) split a double header with the St. Paul Saints (15-12) at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium on Friday night, winning the opener 7-2 and falling in the nightcap 3-2.
In game one, Ryan Hinson threw the first complete game of his professional career, allowing two earned runs on six hits in seven innings pitched. Hinson walked three and struck out eight.
Trailing 2-0 in the bottom of the second, C.J. Ziegler and Cole Armstrong singled back-to-back against Saints' starter George Jensen.
