
Hillcats and Keys Postponed on Tuesday

Frederick, Md. - Today's game between the Lynchburg Hillcats and the Frederick Keys has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game will be made up as part of a double-header on Wednesday, July 3. First pitch for Game One is scheduled for 4 p.m.
Left-hander Hector Hernandez (0-1, 2.84) will take the ball for Lynchburg in the first game, opposed by righty David Lebron (2-3, 3.88) of Frederick. The following match-up will feature southpaw Anderson Polanco (0-2, 3.64) for the Hillcats, while lefty Cameron Bishop (0-6, 5.14) will toe the slab for the Keys.
There will be approximately 30 minutes between games and each contest will be seven innings in length.
Lynchburg took the series-opener on Monday over Frederick, 4-3, behind a go-ahead single from Nolan Jones in the ninth inning.
Max Gun and Anders Jorstad will be on the air at 3:50 p.m. with the Hillcats pre-game show on TuneIn Radio and the Radio434 App.
The Hillcats will return to City Stadium on Thursday for a Fourth of July extravaganza and Military Appreciation Weekend. Thursday's game includes a jersey auction, a hot dog eating contest, post-game fireworks, and much more. Aloha Weekend festivities also include Fantastic Friday, Sparkling Saturday and Sandlot Sunday. Friday's game will feature a hat giveaway to the first 1,000 fans and post-game fireworks presented by Foster Fuels and KD Country. Saturday's post-game fireworks display is presented by MemberOne.
