Keys and Hillcats Postponed

FREDERICK, MD - Tuesday night's contest between the Frederick Keys and Lynchburg Hillcats has been postponed due to rain. With the rain out, the Keys and Hillcats will play a doubleheader on Wednesday, July 3 before heading to Zebulon, North Carolina to take on the Mudcats. Wednesday's twinbill will begin at 4 p.m. with gates opening at 3. The Stars & Stripes hat auction will start at 3:00pm with game one and conclude at the end of the 5th inning of game two. Fireworks will follow game two as well presented by Magic Mountain Chimney Sweeps.
Tickets for tonight's game can be exchanged for any remaining 2019 regular season game based on availability. All exchanges must be made at the box office. Fans with tickets to Wednesday's games receive admission to both games.
On Wednesday, the Keys will start right-hander David Lebron (2-3, 3.88) in game one against Hector Hernandez (0-1, 2.84) for the Hillcats, while left-hander Cameron Bishop (0-6, 5.14) takes the mound against Anderson Polanco (0-2, 3.64) in game two. The Frederick Keys are the Advanced-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, and play their home games at Nymeo Field at Harry Grove Stadium. Following the 2018 season, the Keys were named the winner of the Carolina League's Complete Franchise Award. This goes to a team in the league which demonstrates franchise stability and significant contributions to its community and the league.
