Potomac Nationals News Release

Wilmington, DE - The Potomac Nationals (4-8, 34-45) and Wilmington Blue Rocks (7-5, 51-30) played to a 4-4 tie through three and a half innings on Tuesday night at Frawley Stadium before rain forced a suspension of the contest. The game will be completed on Wednesday at 5:05 in advance of the regularly scheduled series finale, which will be a seven-inning game.

Wilmington jumped out to a 4-0 lead before 2B Bryan Mejia's grand slam in the fourth inning tied the game. It was the first home run of the season for Mejia in a P-Nats uniform, sailing over the left field wall just before the tarp was pulled.

The P-Nats will conclude the suspended game and play a seven-inning game after its completion on Wednesday night. LHP Tim Cate faces off against LHP Daniel Tillo in the regularly scheduled game. First pitch is scheduled for 5:05 pm, with the Potomac broadcast starting at 4:50 with the P-Nats Leadoff Show. You can listen to the Potomac broadcast at potomacnationals.com or on the TuneIn Radio App.
