Herr, Campbell to be on WCTK

Providence Bruins forward Matt Herr and defenseman Ed Campbell will be live in studio on the "Tad and Chris Morning Show" on WCTK "Cat Country" 98.1 FM. The players will be on at 8:00 a.m. to promote the upcoming Providence Bruins-Springfield Falcons exhibition game at the University of Rhode Island's Boss Arena. The game, which is being sponsored by WCTK, is on Wednesday, October 1 at 7:05 p.m.

Head coach Scott Gordon's team also plays the Lowell Lock Monsters at the Bridgewater (MA) Ice Arena on Friday, October 3 at 7:05 p.m., before wrapping up the exhibition season the next night at the Springfield Civic Center, where they take on the Falcons at 7:35 p.m.

The Bruins open up the 2003-04 regular season, their 12th in the AHL, on Friday, October 10, when they host the Springfield Falcons at 7:05 p.m. The Providence Bruins will host a Boston Bruins pre-season game against the Stanley Cup champion New Jersey Devils at the Dunkin' Donuts Center Providence on Tuesday, September 30, 2003 at 7:05 p.m.

The Providence Bruins are currently offering a Hat Trick Special. Fans can purchase a ticket to the Boston Bruins game on September 30, as well as a ticket to the Providence Bruins-Worcester IceCats game on Friday, October 17 at 7:05 p.m. and to the Providence Bruins-Bridgeport Sound Tigers game on Saturday, November 8 at 7:05 p.m., for just $40. In addition, fans that purchase four Hat Trick Specials will receive a free Providence Bruins hat.
