
Herd Drops to Windy City Bulls

OSHKOSH, Wis. - The Wisconsin Herd, the NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, lost to the Windy City Bulls 111-101. The Bulls led the entire game until the third quarter when the Herd took the lead 56-55. The Herd was up at the end of the third quarter 83-82. The two teams traded baskets until the Bulls ran away with a win by 10 points.
Terry Larrier led the Herd with 25 points while Wenyen Gabriel added a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds.
Devon Dotson led the Bulls with 22 points followed by Tyler Cook with 21 points.
The Bulls hit the first eight points of the game, but Terry Larrier hit a layup to put the Herd on the board. The Herd came within four points, but Windy City turned around to go up 16-8 with four and a half minutes left in the first quarter. The Bulls led at the end of the first quarter 26-17.
Windy City outscored the Herd 16-12 to go up 42-29 with six minutes left in the second quarter. The Herd made a run and Terry Larrier hit a last second-three to finish the second quarter. The Bulls led 48-46 at the end of the half. Terry Larrier led the Herd with 11 points in the first half.
The Herd outscored the Bulls to tie the game 55-55 with nine minutes left in the third quarter. Wenyen Gabriel converted a free throw to put the Herd in their first lead of the game, 56-55. The Bulls answered by taking the lead back 63-61. Windy City built their lead to 10 with three minutes left but the Herd outscored the Bulls 12-5 to take the lead 83-82 at the end of the third quarter.
Terry Larrier hit back-to-back layups to put the Herd up 87-84 in the fourth quarter. The Bulls came back taking the lead 93-91 and continued their run to go ahead by 10 points with two minutes left in the fourth quarter. The Bulls held on to win the game 111-101.
The Herd will play again on the road against Raptors 905 on Thursday, February 17 with tip-off set for 6:00 p.m. CST.
