
Blue Coats Fall to Raptors 905 Despite Late Comeback

In a Saturday night duel at Chase Fieldhouse, the Delaware Blue Coats (9-5) took on Raptors 905 (13-4) in their second meeting of the regular season. After defeating the 905 in their stadium 126-121 back on February 5th, the Blue Coats came up just shy of the season sweep, dropping Saturday's game 104-109.
The Blue Coats fell behind early, trailing by as much as 11 points up until the fourth quarter. With 5:43 left to play in the game, the Coats were able to take their first lead of the game, going up 94-93 thanks to a Jared Brownridge free throw.
Shaquille Harrison's game-tying three-pointer squared the game up at 101 a piece in the final 1:43 of the game, but Raptors 905 went on an 8-3 run in the ticking moments of the night to close out the Blue Coats and take home the victory.
The win has the 905 sitting comfortably at the top of the Eastern Conference with the Blue Coats slipping to 9-5 in the regular season, tied with the Grand Rapids Gold for the third seed in the division.

Braxton Key
Battling against the equally big 6'8" Isaac Bonga for most of the game, Key notched a points and rebounds double-double in double, registering 17 and 11, while also doling out 6 assists.
Shaquille Harrison
Harrison was his team's leading scorer, registering 24 points after going 8-14 from the field. His shooting performance late in the game kept the Blue Coats in fighting distance late.

The Blue Coats will have off until Thursday, February 17th, their final game before the league's All-Star break. They take on the Windy City Bulls in their second meeting of the 2021-2022 regular season.
