Hedden to Grand Rapids

Toledo, OH - The Toledo Walleye and head Coach Nick Vitucci announced today that forward Mike Hedden has signed a Professional tryout agreement with the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League.

Hedden just returned to the Walleye last night after a stint on injured reserve and did score a goal. Mike has appeared in 100 professional games, all with Toledo, and has scored 25 goals with 18 assists. The Griffins host Chicago tonight in Grand Rapids.

The Toledo Walleye will be back at home Saturday, January 22nd at 7:00 PM vs. the Elmira Jackals at the Huntington Center. Tickets are on sale for that contest and all remaining home games. Fans can call (419) 725-WALL or visit www.toledowalleye.com for more information.
