Heated Slugfest Sees T-Bones Win by One

LAREDO, TX - The Kansas City T-Bones win an 11-10 slugfest over the Laredo Lemurs on Saturday night at Uni-Trade Stadium.ÃâÃÂ
The hitting got started early as the T-Bones put up two runs in the first innings.ÃâàThe Lemurs came back and put up two runs of their own in the bottom of the first with a John Allen two run homerun over the left field wall to tie up the game at two.ÃâÃÂ
The T-Bones would get back on the board in the third with three runs topped off by the Brandon Jones double to drive in two runs making it 5-2 T-Bones.ÃâàThe T-Bones would continue their hot hitting in the fifth with two runs brought in by Felix Molina's double to make it 7-2 Bones.ÃâÃÂ
In the bottom of the ninth and the Lemurs down 11-7, they came to the plate and Garrett Rau singled with one down to start a Lemurs rally.ÃâàPhilip Incaviglia then singled to right field to put runners at first and second base.ÃâàThat's when Harrison Kain stepped up to the plate and tripled to drive in the two runs and make the score 11-9 T-Bones.ÃâàSawyer Carroll would step up to the plate next and hit an infield single that brought in Kain from third to make it an 11-10 game.ÃâàThe Lemurs would not be able to push across the tying run with the game ending with the T-Bones up 11-10.ÃâÃÂ
Aaron Tullo picked up the win moving his record to 2-0 after throwing six and two thirds, giving up seven runs, on nine hits, with two walks, and three strikeouts.ÃâÃÂ
Ryan Sasaki takes the loss for the Lemurs moving his record to 1-1, as he went five, giving up seven runs, on 10 hits, with two walks.ÃâàÃâàÃâàÃâÃÂ
All game times at home will be at 7:30pm with the exception of Wednesday, May 22nd at 10:00am and the game on Sunday, June 2nd which will start at 3:16pm.ÃâÃÂ
