TONIGHT
The Heat look to complete a weekend sweep of Colorado following Saturday's 5-2 thriller at Stockton Arena. The Heat have won two of the last three games and will look to extend the string of success against a familiar opponent.
ROCKY MOUNTAIN HIGH
The Heat continued their successful season against their Pacific Division foe from Loveland, entering tonight's game, the final meeting of the season between the clubs, with a record of 5-1-0-1 on the year against the Eagles. Stockton has won the last two meetings by a combined score of 11-4.
DUBE COMES UP BIG
Dillon Dube earned first star of the night honors after lighting the lamp twice and registering a helper to finish the night with three points. In four games played against Colorado, Dube now has seven points (4g,3a).
MURCH LIGHTS IT UP
Mike McMurtry got the scoring start on Saturday just 3:12 into the contest and finished the night with a season-best three points after adding two assists throughout the game. It was his first multi-point effort of the season.
SABOURIN'S EVENTFUL NIGHT
Scott Sabourin stayed busy Saturday, claiming a pair of assists on Stockton's first three goals and dropping the gloves twice. He racked up a Heat season-high 26 penalty minutes in the game while notching his first multi-point game of the campaign.
GILLY GILLY
Jon Gillies has won back-to-back starts, both against Colorado, while turning away 56 of 60 shots faced (.933 SVP) in those games. The netminder leads Stockton with eight wins on the year.
