Abbotsford Heat News Release

Abbotsford, BC - The Abbotsford Heat fell 2-1 to the Oklahoma City Barons on Saturday night in the final contest of the season between the divisional rivals. The tight-checking affair was the sixth time in eight games this year that the result between these clubs was decided by two goals or fewer. The Heat trailed 1-0 after the first period and neither team could score in the second. Ben Walter tied the game at one with his seventh tally of the season early in the third, but the Barons regained the lead midway through the final frame. Goaltender Henrik Karlsson got the start between the pipes and made 19 saves on 21 shots in his second career AHL start.
