Health Awareness Fair Saturday vs. Albany

(HERSHEY, PA) - The Albany River Rats are back in town to face the Hershey Bears at 7 p.m. on Saturday, February 17.

Hershey Entertainment & Resorts, which owns the Bears, welcomes its local healthcare partner-Penn State Hershey Medical Center - for "Penn State Heart &Vascular Institute Night." The first 3,000 fans in the doors of Giant Center on Saturday night will receive a T-shirt, compliments of the medical center. In addition, prior to the hockey game, there is the 4th Annual Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Stride-n-Ride at Giant Center. Registration begins at 11 a.m., and the walk begins at 12 noon.

This fun, indoor walk or ride benefits local individuals living with a neuromuscular disease. All funds raised from the MDA Stride-n-Ride will allow the association to continue to provide Central Pennsylvania families living with neuromuscular diseases with wheelchairs, leg braces, communication devices, support group sessions, summer camp and scientific research for treatments and cures.

On Sunday, the Hamilton Bulldogs come to Giant Center for a 5 p.m. face off. It's "PSECU Night." The first 4,000 fans will receive a knit cap compliments of PSECU. Plus, following the game there will be another 60-minute "Meet the Bears/Post Game Autograph Session in the Club Lounge with Matt Hendricks and Chris Bourque.*
