Ottawa recalls goaltender Kelly Guard

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Ottawa Senators today recalled goaltender Kelly Guard from the club's American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators.
This is the third call-up of the season for Guard. The Prince Albert, Sask., native has served as the Senators' back-up goaltender in five games, most recently in Wednesday's 4-0 win over the Florida Panthers.
In 31 games played this season in the AHL, Guard has nine wins, 16 regulation time losses and three shootout losses. The 23-year-old also has a 0.894 save percentage and 3.38 goals-against average.
