
'Hawks rained out; doiubleheader set for Thursday

LOVES PARK, Ill. - The Rockford RiverHawks' game Wednesday against Traverse City has been postponed because of rain. The teams will make up the rainout as part of a doubleheader on Thursday scheduled for 6:05 p.m. at Road Ranger Stadium.
Thursday's Guns N' Hoses charity softball game between members of the Rockford fire and police department has been moved up one hour to 3:05 p.m. The game will benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Harlem Community Center and the National Fire Sprinkler Association.
Thursday is also a Miller Lite/104.9 - the X Dollar Beer Night
The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league in its 17th season. The RiverHawks host the 2009 Frontier League All-Star Game at 7:05 p.m. on July 15. Advertising and ticket information is available by calling (815) 885-2255.
