February 4, 2022 - SPHL (SPHL)
Huntsville Havoc News Release
KNOXVILLE,TN - In a game which would decide first place in the SPHL, the Havoc would welcome the challenge.
Knoxville would start the game off fast with a quick shorthanded goal but Sy Nutkevitch would tie the game at one. However, Knoxville would get another in the period ending the first with a 2-1 lead.
The second period would see the Havoc strike twice as Kyle Clarke would score a beautiful breakaway goal and Mathieu Newcomb would bury one in front of the net. The Havoc would take that 3-2 lead into the third period.
That 3-2 lead wouldn't last long as the Ice Bears would tie the game early in the third but Rob Darrar would score on the powerplay and Jacob Barber would score an empty net goal to seal the win for the Havoc.
The Havoc now stand alone in first place in the SPHL!
The Havoc will be back Saturday, February 5th for Melissa George Night as they raise money for Huntsville Hospital's NICU!
