
Hassebrock Earns Top Hurler Honors

BURLINGTON, IA (JULY 18)-RHP Blake Hassebrock has been named "Midwest League Pitcher of the Week" for the week of July 11-17. Hassebrock, who pitched seven scoreless innings and struck out seven men against Fort Wayne on July 14 in his longest outing of the season, becomes the second Burlington Bees starting pitcher to garner "Pitcher of the Week" honors after Jose Macias earned the honors for the week of May 23-29.
The Bees finish their home stand with the Lake County Captains this evening at 6:30 p.m. It's "Dollar Monday" at Community Field. Adult general admission tickets are just $2 and senior/student general admission tickets, hot dogs, pizza, popcorn, and cans of Pepsi products are just ONE DOLLAR.
