**Dragons On The Field**

* In the second half of the season, several Dragons have swung particularly hot bats. After Sunday's action had concluded, David Vidal, Ronald Torreyes and Yorman Rodriguez all had averages above .300. The trio had combined to hit five home runs and knock in a combined 27 runs in that stretch.

* As Dayton hosts Peoria in this three game series, they also take on the team with the one of the worst road records in the Midwest League at 17-26. The Chiefs finished the first half 12 games out of first place in the Western Division and in the second half, were tied for last place after Sunday's games.

* Dragons reliever Daniel Wolford has quietly made a name for himself in late game situations. The right handed pitcher from California has put up remarkable numbers over his last 22 games. In that time, he has pitched 36 2/3 innings, allowed just three earned runs, and lowered his season ERA from 4.50 to 1.66
