AKRON, OH - Rain postponed the middle game of a three game series between the Aeros and Harrisburg Senators at Canal Park Saturday night. The two teams will play a doubleheader consisting of two seven-inning games on Sunday beginning at 1:05pm.
The Senators began the night trailing the Bowie Baysox by one game in the Western Division for the second and final playoff spot. The Sens and Akron are separated by just one game with the Senators leading Akron by virtue of their win on Friday night.
Harrisburg sends RH Tanner Roark to the mound in game one and LH Aaron Thompson to the mound in game two. The games can be heard on 1460am The Ticket beginning at 12:50pm and on the Internet through the Senators website at www.senatorsbaseball.com .
The Senators return home on Monday night to start the final homestand of the regular season with a game at 7:00pm against the Portland Sea Dogs. The Senators play Portland in a three game series Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, then host the Trenton Thunder for four games beginning Thursday night. Tickets for the game Monday, or any game this week, can be purchased from 9am to 5pm either in person at the Senators box office or by phone at 231-4444 option 2. Tickets are also available online 24 hours a day through the Senators website.
