OTTAWA - Lynx starter J.A. Happ has been placed on the disabled list with an elbow injury, retroactive to May 30th. RHP Jason Anderson has been transferred to the Lynx roster from Double-A Reading.

Happ, 24, left his May 29th start after only 3.1 innings pitched and 47 pitches. He has a 1-2 record with a 4.09 ERA in 10 starts with the Lynx this season. He leads the club in starts and strikeouts. The young lefty is rated the 8th-best prospect in the Phillies Minor League system by Baseball America who also credit him with the best control and the best changeup among Phillies prospects. He was a Florida State League All-Star last season.

Anderson, 27, was 0-1 with a 5.73 ERA in five games with the Lynx, including two starts. He picked up the win in his only appearance with Reading this season, throwing two scoreless innings May 29th. He spent last season with the Portland Beavers of the Triple-A Pacific Coast League, where he went 5-2 with a 3.29 ERA and four saves in 60 games out of the Portland bullpen. He has a career record of 41-29 with a 3.26 ERA and 34 saves in seven Minor League seasons.
