Hamilton Named To Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game

Saskatoon Blades forward Curtis Hamilton (Kelowna, BC) was named among the 40 players selected to play in the 2010 Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game in Windsor, Ontario on January 20th, 2010.

Hamilton, in his third year with the Blades, was one of 13 players selected from the Western Hockey League to participate in the game. This year, the 6'2", 211-pounder has 7 goals and 9 assists for 16 points in 25 games played to go along with 4 penalty minutes. Over the course of his WHL career, Hamilton has 41 goals and 50 assists for 91 points in 153 games played while accumulating 71 penalty minutes.

The left winger was a member of Team Canada at the 2009 World Under-18 Hockey Championship in Fargo, North Dakota and Moorhead, Minnesota. In 6 games in the tournament, he had 1 goal and 4 assists for 5 points while adding 4 penalty minutes.

The son of former Blades forward (1974-77) Bruce Hamilton, Curtis was the Blades' 2nd round pick (36th overall) in the 2006 WHL Bantam Draft.
