It's almost here. World Junior Pre-Competition action is coming to Moose Jaw tomorrow night when Team USA will take on the Czech Republic. The game will mark the first International U- 20 hockey game to grace the Civic Centre.
Fans will not only be treated to some of the world's best hockey, the title sponsor of the event has a few surprises for those in attendance. Fifth Avenue Collection, a Moose Jaw based direct sales company selling high quality, fine fashion jewellery will be giving away 200 pieces of jewellery to the first 200 ladies through the doors. Through out the evening, 24 pieces of Fifth Avenue Collection Jewellery will be given away in the stands.
Fifth Avenue Collection President, Jay Butler will be on hand for a ceremonial puck drop to kick off the event. Jay Butler will also be presenting each player with a special watch to commemorate the game in the Friendly City and send the players home with a little taste of Moose Jaw.
To welcome the teams to Moose Jaw, the entire West side of the Civic Centre will be receiving USA flags to cheer on their "adopted" team. The East side will represent Team Czech Republic and will support their team by flying the Czech Republic flag. Fans will also be receiving a Special Edition Collector's ticket to the game.
Fans can expect a truly once in a life time event. There are still limited standing room tickets available. This game is just one example of what the Warriors plan to host once a new facility is built. The Warriors would like to warmly welcome teams, officials and fans to Moose Jaw.
