
Calgary Hitmen Defenceman Matt Mackenzie Named To 2010 CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen Hockey Club is proud to announce defenceman Matt MacKenzie will play in the 2010 CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game.
MacKenzie, in his third season with the Hitmen, will suit up for Team Orr on January 20th in Windsor, ON. He is among 40 of the CHL's top players eligible for the 2010 NHL Entry Draft who will also compete in the January 19th Skills Competition.
"This news caught me by surprise but it's a real honor to be named among the top prospects in the country," explains MacKenzie. "I'm looking forward to both the skills competition and the game itself to show scouts what I can do."
The rosters were selected by 30 NHL General Managers along with NHL Central Scouting and include 18 players from the Ontario Hockey League, 13 players from the Western Hockey League, and nine players from the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
