
Halloween Night Returns in Promotion Packed Week

Bangor, ME- The Lumberjacks at back at home this Friday, August 20 for a four game series against the Aces and a three game series versus les Capitales de Quebec.
Friday, August 20 is Halloween Night at the Wink sponsored by Brewer Wal-Mart Super center. Originally scheduled for August 13, the game was rained out and the promotion was moved to the 20th. Fans are encouraged to dress in their best Halloween costumes to gain free entrance to the park and win great prizes from the Brewer Wal-Mart in the Lumberjacks costume contest. The Lumberjack players will be wearing special Halloween jerseys that will be auctioned off via a silent auction during the games with the proceeds going to the Children's Miracle Network. Lumberjack players will sign their jerseys and hats after the games for the winning bidders. First pitch for the Friday doubleheader is 5 PM.
Saturday the Lumberjacks will be presenting a free baseball clinic for children ages 6-13 at 11 AM. This clinic was also scheduled for last weekend, but had to be postponed due to inclement weather. Spots in the camp are still available by calling the Ryan at the Lumberjacks office at 207-947-1900. Spots are filled on a first come, first serve basis. Children who come to the clinic will receive a free ticket to that night's game. Saturday night's game begins at 6:30.
Sunday is Jack Pack day at the Wink. Fans are invited to purchase a Jack Pack, which includes four reserved tickets to the 2 PM game, four hot dogs, four programs, and the right to participate in a pre-game on the field ball toss, and post game running of the bases. Jack Packs are available for just $35 on Sunday.
After an off day Monday, the Capitales come to town for an exciting three-day series that could determine the winner of the North Division's second half. Tuesday, the first game of the series, is the return of the Lumberjacks 2 for 2sday promotion. All reserved tickets are buy one, get one free. Game time is 6:30 PM.
The Jacks and Caps play game two on Wednesday and the final game on Thursday, August 26. Thursday is Bangor Travel Services logo ball day. The first few hundred fans through the gate will receive a logo ball courtesy of Bangor Travel Services. As always, all season and 10 pack ticket holders are guaranteed a ball as well. Gates open at 5:30 for the 6:30 game.
