Lansing Lugnuts News Release

The Lansing Lugnuts announced the following roster changes, in conjunction with the Oakland Athletics:

- Pitcher Charles Hall promoted to Double-A Midland

- Pitcher Jack Owen received from Single-A Stockton

A native of Dumfries, Va., the 27-year-old Hall was named to the High-A Central Postseason All-Star Team a year ago as the circuit's best relief pitcher, limiting the league to a .191 batting average while posting a 2.11 ERA in 43 appearances, walking 21 and striking out 79. This year, following the conclusion of a 50-game suspension, Hall had made three appearances for the Lugnuts, two of them scoreless.

The 24-year-old Owen was signed as an undrafted free agent from Auburn University following the 2021 draft. He made his professional debut in Lansing last season, posting a 4.50 ERA while striking out 21 batters and walking just four in 20 innings. He made 23 appearances this season for Stockton, one a spot start, and recorded a 3.41 ERA with 48 strikeouts compared to nine walks in 37 innings.

The Lansing Lugnuts (25-39) play the third game of a six-game home series with the Beloit Sky Carp (29-34, Miami Marlins) today at 7:05 p.m. Eastern. For more information, visit lansinglugnuts.com or call (517) 485-4500.
