Saint Paul, Minn. - Spirit center Hunter Haight has signed a three year entry-level contract with the Minnesota Wild, the team announced this morning. Haight was selected in the second round (47th overall) by Minnesota in the 2022 NHL Draft.

"I am extremely honoured to be signing my first NHL contract," said Haight. "I'm grateful to all those who have been a part of my life to help get me here. Special thanks to the Spirit organization, my family, and my teammates."

Haight was acquired by the Spirit via a trade with the Barrie Colts on December 1st.
