
Gwinnett Braves Homestand Highlights: April 14-20

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA - The Gwinnett Braves open their 2016 home schedule with a seven-game homestand at Coolray Field from Thursday, April 14 through Wednesday, April 20. The G-Braves host a pair of International League South Division rivals, the Norfolk Tides (Triple-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles) from April 14-17 and the Durham Bulls (Triple-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays) from April 18-20.
The homestand begins with Opening Day festivities on April 14, including an Opening Day T-Shirt Giveaway sponsored by Georgia Power and Post-Game Fireworks. Other promotions throughout the weekend include a Jackie Robinson Jersey Auction and Fireworks Friday on April 15, a Fleece Blanket Giveaway sponsored by Coolray Heating and Cooling and "Princess and Pirates Night" on April 16, and "Bark in the Park" on April 17.

Thursday, April 14

Features:
§ Opening Day Festivities - Welcome the G-Braves back for their eighth season at Coolray Field! Pre-game ceremonies will introduce the players and coaching staff.
§ Opening Day T-Shirt Giveaway - The first 2,500 fans through the gates receive an Opening Day T-Shirt, presented by Georgia Power.
§ Post-Game Fireworks - Stick around after the game for a spectacular fireworks display.
Friday, April 15

§ Jackie Robinson Jersey Auction - To celebrate "Jackie Robinson Day" along with Major League Baseball, the G-Braves will don special Brooklyn Dodgers-themed jerseys and all players will wear Robinson's number 42. Game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off during the game.
§ Magnet Schedule Giveaway - The first 2,500 fans will receive a 2016 G-Braves Magnet Schedule.
§ Fireworks Friday - Stick around after the game for a spectacular fireworks display.
Saturday, April 16

§ Bark in the Park - Bring your dog to the Coolray Field Lawn to enjoy some Sunday afternoon baseball.
§ Sunday Funday - Fans are invited to play catch on the field before the game from 1:10-1:25 p.m. and kids (ages 12 and under) are welcome to run the bases following the game as part of "Sunday Funday" presented by Georgia United Credit Union.
