The Woodchucks were held scoreless in the top of the first before the Loggers broke onto the board in the bottom of the inning. The Woodchucks would cut the lead in half as they got on the scoreboard in the top of the third. With runners on first and second and one out, Brandon Cogswell grounded into a fielder's choice, but the relay to first was dropped by pitcher Alex Gunn, which allowed Brad McKewon to score from second base.

The score would stayed locked at 4-1 until the ninth as the Woodchucks sent six pitchers to the mound and held the Loggers off the board after the third.
The Woodchucks would score a run in the ninth on an error by Brandon Bednar, but it would not matter as the Loggers swept the series with the 4-2 victory.
