Grrrowl end 3-game road trip with win over Stingrays

N. CHARLESTON, SC – The Greenville Grrrowl spotted the South Carolina Stingrays a 1-0 lead, but rallied to tie the game at 1-1 after the first period. For the 7th time in the last 9 games, the Grrrowl surrendered the game's first goal, but beat the South Carolina Stingrays 5-2.

JUDD MEDAK scored a shorthanded goal, MARTIN MASA scored a powerplay goal, and MIKE HENERSON, DAVID KACZOWKA and MIKE HURLEY tallied goals for Greenville. For Henderson, it was his first goal for the Grrrowl. And for Hurley, his 8th of the season snapped a 15-game goal scoring drought. JAYME PLATT stopped 41 of 43 shots in the winning effort for Greenville.

Greenville returns home tomorrow (Sunday) afternoon to host the Pee Dee Pride at 3:05 PM (Post-game skate & Family 4-packs available).
