Kalamazoo Wings News Release
Kalamazoo Wings @ Port Huron Beacons McMorran Place Arena Sunday, January 5, 2003 5:05 PM
Game Preview This will be the third of eight meetings between the K-Wings and the Beacons. If history were to repeat itself, then home ice advantage may be the deciding factor in this game. In the two previous encounters, the team that has played on their home ice has skated away with the victory. The last time the K-Wings entered the McMorran Place Arena, was on opening night, where the Beacons led by a Chris MacKenzie hat trick defeated Kalamazoo 3-2. The K-Wings enter the contest looking to rebound from a 4-2 loss last night in Flint, which snapped Kalamazoo's season long two game road winning streak. The Beacons have won three of their last four at home and are looking to pull within a single point of the idle Fort Wayne Komets for first place in the Eastern Conference.
