KENOSHA, WI - The Growlers picked up their sixth win in a row tonight by a score of 12-7 at Simmons Field in Kenosha. The game was deadlocked at one until the Growlers took a 3-2 lead on a Luke Storm 2 RBI single. Kenosha regained the lead with 4 runs in the bottom of the 5th inning to make it 5-3 Kingfish.

Kalamazoo cut the deficit in half with a Blayne Robinson RBI groundout. The Growlers exploded in the top of the 7th, posting a 4-run total with RBI hits from Storm, Ryan Dykstra and Daniel Pruitt. Kenosha scored three after the seventh inning stretch to make it just a one-run lead for KZoo. Still, the Growler's' bats came alive once more when Griff O'Ferral launched a solo homer to lead off the inning, followed up two batters later when Luke Storm launched a 2 run shot to extend the lead once more.

Noah Stants and Mason Majors combined to shut down the Kenosha offense in the later innings allowing the Growlers to capture their sixth straight triumph and move one game within first place.

The Growlers face Kenosha again tomorrow at 7:35 p.m. Eastern time with division leadership on the line.
