The Newfoundland Growlers bounced back into the win column after a 3-0 shutout victory over the Orlando Solar Bears, the former Toronto Maple Leafs ECHL affiliate.

Giorgio Estephan scored at the 10:22 mark of the first period off a dandy pass from Josh Kestner, the goal would hold up to be the game winner.

Estepahn would add another goal in the second period to grasp the Growlers scoring lead with 11 goals.

The Growlers would connect once more, this time in the third period, the franchise's first ever shot handed goal from the stick of Scott Pooley to give the team a 3-0 lead.
