ECHL Announces Fines, Suspensions

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Friday announced the following fines and suspensions.

Allen's Thrower fined, suspended

Allen's Dalton Thrower has been suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #200, Allen at Utah, on Nov. 21.

Thrower was assessed a match penalty under Rule #21.1 at 19:49 of the third period. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Thrower will miss Allen's games at Utah on Nov. 23 and Nov. 24.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Tulsa's McKee fined, suspended

Tulsa's Mike McKee has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #202, Tulsa at Wichita, on Nov. 21.

McKee was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for cross-checking under Rule #59.5 at 19:40 of the third period. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

McKee will miss Tulsa's game vs. Wichita on Nov. 24.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
