SAUGET, IL - Charlie Lisk and Landon Hernandez combined to drive in seven runs as the Gateway Grizzlies cruised past the Windy City ThunderBolts 7-0 on Saturday night at GCS Ballpark. The win was the second in a row for Gateway and it gave them the series win. The ThunderBolts suffered their ninth straight loss.

A crowd of 3,542 saw the Grizzlies jump out to an early 4-0 lead on one swing of the bat. After walks issued to DJ Fitzgerald and Brandon Peters, Joe Agreste singled and Charlie drove them all in with a Grand Slam.

Gateway (30-40) tacked on two more in the second with a Landon Hernandez two-run double.

Hernandez would add to Gateway's lead in the fifth with his 11th homer of the season, a solo blast.

Ryan Juarez (4-1) notched his fourth consecutive win with seven shutout innings. Juarez surrendered four hits, while striking out three and walking one.

Agreste finished 3-for-4, while Lisk and Hernandez enjoyed mult-hit games and big RBI nights. Lisk drove in four and Hernandez had three RBI.

The Grizzlies wrap up their six-game homestand with a Sunday night matchup against Windy City. Rookie right-hander Blake Barber (4-3) gets the start for Gateway. First pitch is set for 6:05 CT at GCS Ballpark.
