
Grizzlies Take Two From Mavericks

Scott Patterson pitched eight innings, and Brad Bauder blasted a two run home run to lead the Grizzlies past the visiting Mid-Missouri Mavericks 3-2 Thursday night in front of 4,012 at GMC Stadium. The win improves the Grizzlies to 12-8. The Mavs are 3-17.
Patterson improved to 3-0 on the season. He struck out seven in the eight innings. Mike Golden pitched the ninth, walking a batter, and striking out a batter for his sixth save in six tries this season.
Bauder was 1-3 in the leadoff spot. Aside from the home run, he walked a stole a base as well. Daylon Monette was 2-4 with a single, and an RBI double.
The Grizzlies and Mavericks conclude the series with a 7:05 Friday night at GMC Stadium.
