SAUGET, Ill.- The series finale between the Evansville Otters and the Gateway Grizzlies was rained out Friday night after just three innings at GCS Ballpark.

After a short rain delay prior to first pitch, the two teams managed three full innings, the last being played in heavy rains. Before the first pitch of the fourth, both umpires and the two managers agreed that the field was unplayable. No makeup date is planned.

Fans holding tickets for Friday's game can redeem those tickets for tickets to any future game in 2010, based on availability.

The Grizzlies (32-30) head back on the road for a three-game series, beginning Saturday night, at Florence (Ky.). First pitch between the Freedom and Grizzlies is set for 5:05 pm central time Saturday night at Champion Window Field.
