Grizzlies Open Busy Week By Hosting Stockton Tuesday, Wednesday

Coming Up Tuesday, Stockton at Utah, 7:05 p.m. Wednesday, Stockton at Utah, 7:05 p.m. Friday, Utah at Ontario, 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Utah at Ontario, 8:00 p.m.

The Situation After taking two of three from Victoria in their first home games in nearly three weeks, Utah is now 6-2-0-3 in their last 11 games as they go into the final 20 games of the year.

Attendance Update The Grizzlies, with an average attendance of 4,099 enter the week with a 22.65-percent increase in average attendance over last season through 28 home games. The increase is the second-largest in the ECHL behind only Cincinnati.

Top Scoring Streak James Sixsmith enters the week with a five-game scoring streak with three goals and three assists. Overall, Utah is 14-6-0-1 with Sixsmith in the lineup this year and he has 14 goals and 19 assists for 33 points in 21 games overall.

Good Timing Tony In the last five games, Utah rookie Tony Romano has scored the game-winning goal in a shootout (February 12) and twice tied the game for Utah in the third period with goals. (February 13, February 20)

"Was It Over When The Germans Bombed Pearl Harbor?" The Grizzlies have set a new team ECHL high with four wins when trailing after two periods, including their latest win on Saturday when they trailed 1-0 going to the third, and ultimately prevailed 3-1.

Thank You and Happy Birthday Grizzlies veteran Lance Galbraith, who turned 30 Sunday, leads Utah in goals with six in his last 11 games and has ten points total during that stretch. Utah is 5-0-0-1 this year when their oldest player lights the lamp.

This Week's Opponents Utah is 11-4-1 all-time against Stockton at home after going 4-0 against the Thunder last year at the E-Center. Utah went 2-0-1-0 last year in Ontario as they prepare for their first and only visit of the season to California's Inland Empire Friday and Saturday.

League's Top Power-Play Units Stockton (1, 22.4-percent) and Utah (3, 21.8-percent) enter the week with two of the top three power-play units in the league. However, when the two teams met in Stockton in January, Utah went 3-7 on the power-play and 8-8 on the penalty-kill against Stockton's top power-play unit.
