JOLIET, IL - Rogelio Noris went 4-for-5 with four RBI and five different Grizzlies had at least two hits as Gateway picked up a 9-5 win against the Joliet Slammers Tuesday night at Silver Cross Field.

Gateway (28-25) picked up 16 hits, which was one shy of their season-high, with Norris leading the way. After his four hit performance, Norris moved to 7-for-8 in the series.

Noris gave the Grizzlies a 1-0 lead on a first inning double that drove in Antone DeJesus, who also doubled.

After Joliet (23-30) tied the game at one in the first, Gateway scored three runs on four hits in the third to take a 4-1 lead. DeJesus hit a solo home run to right field and Vladimir Frias picked up a two-run double. Frias was playing in his first game since being activated from the injured list after a fractured thumb sidelined him since June 11th.
