
Grizzlies Make Roster Moves Prior to Home Opener

WEST VALLEY CITY, UTAH - The Utah Grizzlies announced today that they have been assigned Marc-Andre Thinel has been received on loan from the Montreal Canadiens. To make room for Thinel, the Grizzlies released defenseman Peter Hogan.
Thinel, 21, played 73 games last season with Quebec (AHL) in what was his first professional season. The 6-0, 178-pound right wing scored six goals and added four assists. Thinel played the four previous seasons with Victoriaville (QMJHL) scoring 100+ points in each of his last three seasons with the team.
The Grizzlies' home opener is scheduled for Friday, October 18. Face-off is at 7:00 pm at the E-Center.
