Cincinnati, Ohio – The Cincinnati Cyclones, an affiliate of the National Hockey League's San Jose Sharks, today announced the activation of defenseman Wes Blevins from the 7-Day Injured Reserve List.

Blevins, who was signed to a contract by the Cyclones on October 9 after making the team out of training camp, had been placed on the 7-Day IR List prior to the season-opening game. He will be available for selection in Friday's game at Dayton.

To make room for Blevins, the Cyclones placed rookie forward Sebastien Thinel on the 7-Day Injured Reserve List. Thinel appeared in the team's first two games this season scoring no points and earning a –1 rating.
