
Men O' War Add Big Winger Van Parys

Lexington, KY- Lexington Men O' War General Manager of Hockey Operations/ Head Coach Jim Wiley announced today the team has added Justin Van Parys (RW) to their roster. Van Parys joins the Men O' War after playing the first two games of the season with the Richmond Renegades. With the Renegades Van Parys had zero points with two penalty minutes. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound right wing posted nine goals, 12 assists for 21 points in 64 games last season with El Paso (CHL). He also added 130 penalty minutes. For his career, Van Parys has 16 goals, 31 assists, 47 points, and 245 penalty minutes in 133 games. The 24-year-old will join the team on the road in Peoria, IL.
The Men O' War play their first road game of the season this Friday in Peoria, IL. After taking on the Rivermen, the MOW return home Sunday to host the Toledo Storm at 6:00 p.m.
