
Grizzlies Get Wedderburn From Hershey

WEST VALLEY CITY, UTAH - The Utah Grizzlies announced that they have completed an exchange of players that will bring defenseman Tim Wedderburn from Hershey to Utah and will send center Gavin Morgan to the Bears.
Wedderburn, 22, spent the entire season last year with Hershey scoring a goal and adding six assists in 67 games. The Okotoks, Alberta native played 273 career games with Prince George (WHL) between 1998-2002 totaling 96 points (20-76 - 96). The 6-1, 212-pound defenseman did not record a point in five playoff games with Hershey last season.
Morgan, 27, played in 73 games with Utah last season and in his career has dressed in 238 games as a Grizzly. Last season, the Scarborough, Ontario native scored 15 goals and added 24 assists and finished second on the team with 244 penalty minutes. In a pair of playoff games with the Grizzlies, Morgan had an assist and 17 penalty minutes. In his career, the 5-11, 190-pound center led the Grizzlies franchise with 686 minutes in the penalty box.
