Post-Game Entertainment Returns Again and Again

GREENVILLE, SC â The Greenville Grrrowl of the ECHL have announced the scheduling of two post-game concerts for the upcoming season. Both events are part of festivities on Church Nights with the Grrrowl, and will feature two outstanding contemporary Christian bands.
The first concert will feature "AVALON" as the post-game entertainment after the Grrrowl take on the South Carolina Stingrays, Saturday night, December 13, 2003. This quartet has been around for eight years, and has produced five successful studio projects, 20-Dove Award nominations, three Dove Awards, two Grammy Award nominations, an American Music Award and seventeen #1 radio hits. "POINT OF GRACE" will visit the BI-LO Center for a post-game concert on Friday, February 27, 2004 following a game with the Charlotte Checkers. "Point of Grace" has accumulated 21 consecutive #1 radio singles, one platinum record, four gold records, a major book deal with "Pocket Books", and was recently named "The Hottest Group in Christian Music" by The New York Times. For the previous three seasons, the Grrrowl have enjoyed great success with post-game concert events, featuring artists such as 4HIM, Jaci Velasquez, and The Katinas. As in the past, there are no additional costs over the Grrrowl ticket price for the added value of the concerts. "Adding value to the current affordable ticket prices is a high priority for our organization," added Byron K. Rucker, Executive VP / General Manager. "These two events are high profile examples of our commitment to present the best possible entertainment options to the fans of the Upstate."
The Grrrowl have released the 2003-04 schedule, including "Opening Night presented by Verizon Wireless, on October 24th against the Charlotte Checkers at 7:05 PM.
