Grizzlies, Fresno State Team Up For Sports Career Forum

FRESNO, CA - The Fresno Grizzlies, The Department of Marketing & Logistics in the Craig School of Business, and the Alumni and Friends of the Craig School of Business at Fresno State will host a Sports Marketing Career Forum in the Alice Peters Auditorium of the University Business Center on Tuesday, April 14th at 10:00am. Students will have an opportunity to listen and ask questions of numerous professionals from different segments of the sports business world.

"Sports marketing has been identified as one of the top five career opportunities in the United States today," said Fresno State sports marketing professor Dr. Susan Geringer. "The upcoming forum will give students the opportunity to meet professionals in the business, network with them and discover the numerous careers available in this exciting field."

The panel discussion will include professionals from the Fresno Grizzlies, Learfield Sports Licensing, SaveMart Center, and more. The forum will be open to high school and college students from throughout the Central Valley in addition to the Fresno State community. The Grizzlies continue their season-opening, eight-game homestand tonight against the Portland Beavers, with game time scheduled for 7:05pm.
