SALT LAKE CITY (April 11, 2009) - The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim announced today that the club has recalled outfielder Reggie Willits.

Willits, 27, appeared in the Bees season opener last night, hitting 1-for-5. In 82 games for the Angels in 2008, he hit .194 with four doubles and seven RBI. He appeared in 10 games for the Bees last season, registering a .378 batting average with two doubles and four RBI.

The Chickasha, Okla. native was originally selected by the Angels in the seventh round of the 2003 free agent draft.
