
Grizzlies Fall To Victoria: Back Home Friday, Saturday

West Valley City, Utah - The Victoria Salmon Kings defeated the Utah Grizzlies 4-2 Wednesday night at the E-Center.
Utah took a 1-0 lead on a five-on-three power-play goal 14:11 into the game on Tom May's fifth goal of the year. Vladimir Nikiforov and Andy Sertich picked up the assists.
Victoria scored two goals in the first 3:13 of the second in a span of 1:09 to give the Salmon Kings a 2-1 lead. Utah tied the game at 10:11 of the period with Nikiforov setting up Tim Verbeek for his sixth of the year.
The game remained tied until late in the second when Victoria took a 3-2 lead. They made it 4-2 with a power-play goal around the halfway point of the third period and that would be the final score.
The Grizzlies and Salmon Kings rematch Friday and Saturday at the E-Center. Face-off both nights is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
